The proposed PPOFS provides a review of the
adopted Playing Pitch Strategy (July 2016), identifying the needs
of current and future demand for football, rugby union, rugby
league, cricket and hockey. Under this review it has been expanded
to cover outdoor facilities bowls, netball and tennis.
The PPOFS will inform the investment required to support the
existing needs and population growth identified in the Local
plan.
The PPOFS will act as evidence for planning contributions, and
funding bids.
