To provide the Governance Committee with an
annual update on the Member Learning and Development Programme as
part of its role in evaluating the overall effectiveness of Member
development and to assist in generating creative and innovative
ideas for the advancement of the Member Development Programme, as
set out in the Committee’s Terms of Reference.
The report details lessons learnt as we enter the third year of
Councillors term in office, since the May 2023 local elections,
sighting Member feedback, lessons learnt and plans for the future
of the Learning and Development programme.
